Company 27, along with Stations 38 (Ellsworth) and 50 (Lone Pine) were activated for a possible structure fire in the 1300 block of National Pike in North Beth Township.  Engine 27-1 was the first 27 apparatus to call enroute with a 4 man crew, followed by Truck 27.  Captain 50 was the first to arrive on scene to find a working chimney fire.  Captain 50 assumed command and had crews begin an initial attack.  Engine 27-1 crew assisted with initial extinguishment of fire while Truck 27 was set up for more roof access.  Fire was brought under control quickly by the entire North Beth Fire Group without any other part of the residence being damaged.  All crews returned approx. 1 hour after initial dispatch.
